Class Description
The Acute Care-CNA course focuses on broadening the CNA’s scope of knowledge and clinical experience to include skills required to work in an acute care setting such as a hospital. Students taking this course must have successfully completed the NA course & passed the NA state competency test. Students must show proof of current BLS CPR training.
Students must hold a valid CNA license prior to enrolling in the Acute Care program.
Program Cost: $1,453
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure enrollment.
Remaining balance due ($1,153) must be paid in full. All payments are due by the 15th of each month. Payments received after the due date will be subject to a $35 late fee.
Initial state testing fees included in tuition above. Retesting fees are paid by student:
- Skills: $100
- Knowledge: $40
Tuition Includes:
BLS CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association, Uniforms, Textbook, Workbook, Fingerprinting, & State Testing Fees
Prerequisites:
Students must provide a physical examination, TB screening, seasonal flu shot, COVID-19 Vaccine & shoes. Authorization to work in the U.S/Work Permit required
Additional Notes:
Students are required to attend all scheduled classroom and hospital clinical sessions.
