
Class Description
This program trains students to become Certified Nurse Assistants. It begins with enhancing intermediate English skills and learning medical terminology, followed by patient care, observation, and communication, with a focus on geriatric care in long-term facilities. The program also covers employability skills and workplace expectations, combining classroom learning with 100 hours of clinical experience.
Program Cost: $300
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure enrollment. Must meet eligibility requirements.
Initial state testing fees included in tuition above. Retesting fees are paid by student:
- Skills: $100
- Knowledge: $40
Tuition Includes:
BLS CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association, Uniforms, Textbook, Workbook, Fingerprinting, & State Testing Fees.
Prerequisites:
CASAS Basic reading test required. Call for testing appointment. Testing is free.
*Authorization to work in the U.S/Work Permit required
Additional Notes:
Students are required to attend all scheduled classroom and hospital clinical sessions.
