Art of Animation

This program introduces students to animation through theory and hands-on training in art fundamentals, drawing, cartooning, and animation basics. It also includes an introduction to computer graphics imaging. Students will study art theory, composition, color, spatial concepts, and rendering, using creativity and imagination to convey ideas and tell a story.

Art of Animation 2 is an all-inclusive animation production experience allowing students to gain more in-depth exposure of the animation process through the production of an animated film. Students will increase their animation skills and collaborate to produce short stories, storyboards, audio tracks, special effects, and character and background animations.
