Automotive Technician 1 is a foundational course that provides students with basic vehicle service skills and a general understanding of automotive system components for entry-level jobs. Emphasis is placed on proper use of common tools, equipment, personal protective equipment and OSHA safety practices in the workplace and general lab.

Automotive Technician 3 builds on Automotive Technician 2 by equipping students with foundational knowledge and experience in automotive technology, specifically focusing on electric vehicles (EVs). In addition, students will learn hybrid technology electric vehicles, the principles of vehicle electrification, systems integration, diagnostics, repair, and safety practices essential for the growing automotive industry.
