How to Get College Credit for Your Articulated High School Class
Current High School Students
If you’re taking an articulated class now, speak to your teacher first about eligibility, then follow these steps to earn college credit:
1. Apply to the Community College

- Go to CCCApply, choose your college, and apply online.
- You’ll get a student ID number by email (check your spam/junk folder too).
2. Get Your Student ID

- It may take up to a week to receive your ID number via email.
3. Create a CATEMA Account

- Visit the CATEMA System, choose the articulated college, and sign up using your college student ID number.
4. Complete the Course

- Finish the class with the required grade and/or exam score of B or higher.
- Your teacher will enter your final grade into the CATEMA system to recommend credit.
Past High School Students
If you already completed an articulated class with a grade of B or higher, but didn’t go through the credit process at the time, follow these steps:
1. Apply to the Community College

- Go to CCCApply, select your college (Crafton, RCC or Valley), and apply online to get your student ID.
- If you already have a college student ID number, locate it in your email from the college.
2. Get a Copy of Your High School Transcript

- Contact your high school to request a transcript showing your final grade.
3. Submit the College’s Articulation Request Form

- Once you have your student ID and transcript, follow the instructions for your college:

- Crafton Hills College: Email admissions@craftonhills.edu or call (909) 389-3372.
- Riverside Community College District (RCCD): Follow their Request Instructions.
- San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC): Email SBVCK12Articulation@valleycollege.edu or call (909) 384-4467.

- Once you have your student ID and transcript, follow the instructions for your college:
Important Reminders

- You must request college credit within 2 years of completing your high school course (each college may have its own deadline).
- CRY-ROP must have had an active articulation agreement with the college at the time you took the course.
- College credit is granted only after your transcript is reviewed and eligibility confirmed.
- The college will issue an official transcript once your credit is approved.
